Bobby Langer

Würzburg/Germany

Journalist and networker and father of three great children

Bobby has been part of the environmental movement since 1976 and sees himself as “trans” in the sense of transnational, transreligious, transpolitical, transemotional and transrational – he prefers to call himself “intro-real”. He considers the term “environment” to be a relic of the mental Middle Ages and hopes for a Copernican revolution in the Western mind: the realization that the world does not revolve around humans, but that humans are in it and with it like all other animals. He therefore prefers the term “co-world”.

Bobby completed a degree in German and English studies with the 2nd state examination but gave up his career as a teacher shortly before becoming a civil servant in 1980.
Since then, he has worked as a freelancer, mostly as a journalist and public relations man. From 1994-2003, he was head of the editorial team at Deutsche Journalisten Dienste, and between 2004 and 2014 he was head of the editorial team at the press service agency press-partners.

He has been involved with spiritual topics and meditation since 1966, a theme that runs through his private homepage. Today, he works around the clock as a “networker in the service of Mother Earth”. Together with Alander Baltosée (author of Jamilanda, WandelOasen), he founded the web portal “Ökoligenta – understanding the social-ecological transformation“.
