Marcus Vitt, CEO of Bankhaus Donner & Reuschel, and Dr Hans Christian Meiser, editor-in-chief of Purpose Magazin, hosted the evening together and told the selected guests about the genesis of the “superfood for the mind” and the people behind it, who fill PURPOSE MAGAZIN with warmth and ideas as well as purposeful and surprising insights. People such as photographer Nomi Baumgartl, who “look at this beautiful planet with eagle eyes” or Giò von Beust, who turned his utopian idea for a better world into the viable vision of the Human Purpose Village Project.

The winner in the Horizons category was the internationally renowned photographer Nomi Baumgartl, whose initiatives and photographs are primarily dedicated to animal welfare and the protection of the Alps. “Nomi is always in the moment and captures the soul of nature and people,” said Barbara Becker, who travelled all the way from Florida and has a special connection to the award winner as a member of “Dolphin Aid”.

Giò von Beust won the sustainability category. Natalie Schmid, Sustainability Officer at DONNER & REUSCHEL, presented the concept of the Human Purpose Village Project, which made a deep impression on those present, as it is about the future of us all.
